Student Kart Challenge.

The Student Kart Challenge is open to educational establishments Nationally. Each establishment is permitted to run a team consisting of up to 3 karts.

Event format:

The team will be permitted to arrive at the venue on the Friday morning of each event as listed on the published calendar. There will be a member of the SKC team to complete the administration tasks at each round. During the afternoon( approx.) 13:00 hrs there will be a demonstration and class to develop knowledge on the setup. The sessions will aid the curriculum delivered within the educational setting.

The team at the circuit: Up to 10 members, including kart drivers, these must consist of a minimum of 1 driver from the registered educational facility. Each driver must hold a current valid karting race license at the appropriate grade: Inter or above. The other 2 seats may be funded to raise funds for the team to compete within the SKC.

Filming:

This will be carried out at each event by the organization assigned to Drive2Thrive.

Hospitality.

Hospitality is provided for team members over the race weekend, breakfast will be provided by on site catering team whilst lunch will be provided by Drive2Thrive.

The learners are permitted to be supervised by the appropriate number of staff members; this will be to satisfy the safeguarding requirements of the individual educational establishments.

To use the surface area of awnings, the Kart, race suits, and crash helmets as advertising space( sponsorship) to secure funds for the educational project.

What is included:

Entry for 3 drivers over the race weekend
your weekend will be split into a technical session, practice race and race day itself.
Transponder hire over the weekend for 3 drivers.
you will allocated 2 parking slots for 2 cars, this will allow 2 cars worth of spectators free entry. extra cars will come with an additional fee.
Pit space will be allocated for the SKC calendar, this will not be available outside of the SKC calendar.
